Elmore ERICKSON, manager of the Hy-Vee Food Store in Mount Ayr, will be transferred to the Hy-Vee store at Bethany, MO
on or about the first of December. The name of his successor has not been announced.
Thelma CARYL, county recorder, and Iona DAVENPORT, deputy, this week completed the work of recopying the first town lot
index. Since many of the items, names, etc. were nearly illegible much research was required. The ladies spent six months
of their spare time in completing the work.
Rev. M. J. NASH has been appointed by Bishop F. Gerald ENSLEY of the Des Moines area to the Kellerton and Beaconsfield
Methodist churches. He succeeds the Rev. W. T. MILLER, who was recently appointed to the Asbury Methodist church
in Des Moines.

September 23, a daughter, Ellen Marie, to Mr. and Mrs. Doyle TRULLINGER, Lamoni
September 24, a daughter, Roberta Jeanne, to Mr. and Mrs. Robert DOWLIN, Blockton
September 27, a son, Kevin Lee, to Mr. and Mrs. Lee STILL, Kellerton
