H. M. Polen has purchased a half share in the Diagonal Harness and Repair Shop. The firm name is now Graham and Polen.
F. L. Watson left Tuesday of last week with his car for Alberta, Canada, where he expects to make his home. He was accompanied by Homer Main, who will be employed by Mr. Watson.
The Mount Ayr Gospel Team was organized Sunday in the United Presbyterian church and is now ready for active work. J. E. Wood, who has been serving as captain, was elected president; C. E. Moore, vice-president; W. B. Buck, secretary; and J. A. Stephenson, treasurer.
The organization of Ringgold county in the club work for boys and girls was effected last week and a good booster and wide awake local leaders has been secured for each. Township leaders are Ray Overholtzer Ray Darbyshire, Arther Baker, Frank Bliss, George Bentley, Grant Stahl, E. P. Johnston, John Clough, Sam Egley, Alex Moffatt, Omer Varner, Mode Cornelison, Phil Studer, C. L. Maloy, Clark Thompkins and B. J. Stevenson.
Young people who compete in the acre of corn contest will have a chance to win a trip to the International Livestock Show held in Chicago next winter, costing $35.

Born, to Mr. and Mrs. W. Moore, March 25, a daughter.
RINGGOLD - Mr. and Mrs. John Adams are the parents of a baby girl, born March 15.
