Nicole LANDPHAIR, a senior at Mount Ayr Community high school will be performing as a flag twirler in the marching
auxiliary organization during halftime activities at the Hall of Fame Bowl, Ohio State and Auburn, in Tampa Bay, FL,
on January 1. LANDPHAIR attended a flag camp at Iowa State University and tried out and was chose for the national
group.
Winners in the Optimist Club's annual oratorical contest are Jennifer FIALA, first place; Melissa EIGHMY, second place;
and Laura HURMENCE, third place.
