Iona FISHER is opening a studio in the Willow House, southeast of the square, and will give lessons in china and
water colors.
Rev. and Mrs. J.V. WRIGHT and daughters left Wednesday morning for Worth, Mo. This is where they will make their home.
Father F. BURKHEISER, of Des Moines, will move to Mount Ayr, where he will serve as permanent resident pastor of
St. Joseph's Church. In addition to the Mount Ayr church, he will have charge of St. Joseph's Church in Kellerton,
Leon and Grand River.
DIAGONAL - The Variety Store, owned by Mr. and Mrs. ROGERS, was purchased last week by Ned CASS, who
expects to move to town and take charge of the store.
High School Notes -- At a meeting of the sophomore class held yesterday, Frank KEATING was re-elected
secretary [president?] and X. PRENTIS was elected secretary-treasurer. Otto HALEY was elected to fill the position of
athletic manager. The junior class have elected the following as officers: president, Harry SPURRIER; vice-president,
Lucy KIDNEY; secretary, Eva WOOD; and treasurer, Mary BUCK.
