Recently, a Barnum & Bailey Circus was given by 10 little girls, who decided to give the proceeds, which amounted to
$5.00, to the Red Cross. They are Dorothy NICHOLS, Margaret ROBINSON, Irma JAGGER, Ruth BEARD, Genevieve NICHOLAS,
Frances MOWRY, Zoe NICHOLAS, Margaret BEARD, Marjorie WILKINSON and Anna Louise SHUEMAKER.
Attorney Grant L. HAYES has been appointed by Judge H. K. EVANS as a member of the Ringgold county insane commission in
place of Homer A. FULLER, who resigned on account of being appointed to the position of judge.
H. M. MILLER, of this city, has been appoined by Governor Harding as a member of the County Defense Committee instead of
Frank WILSON, who resigned to enter an officers' training camp at Fort Snelling. Other members of the committee are
Charles MOON, C. C. BOSWORTH, John YARYAN, Harry GRACE, Charles BAILEY, E. E. NORRIS, L. O. IMUS, W. E. RHOADES,
William GUSTIN, G. A. REED, Sim RICE, Henry SHULTZ, Leonard SHEIL, Ralph SMITH, J. D. CLEWELL, William TURNER and
Troy KNOTT.
