The original Hy-Vee store in Beaconsfield is one step closer to being placed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building was reviewed by the State National Register Nominations Review Committee on Friday, February 9, and nominated to move on.
The ticket booth. concession stand, handicapped accessible restroom, projection room and light and sound room have been framed up by the Mount Ayr Community high school construction technologies class as progress moves on in the Princess Theatre renovation project.
Three Mount Ayr Community Raider wrestlers are participating in the state Class 1A wrestling meet in Des Moines. They are Logan Larsen, Tyler Hosfield and Cody Lame.
