A new Wayne street sweeper, valued at $11,000, has been placed in service on the streets of Mount Ayr.

116 seniors of the Mount Ayr Community High School - 59 boys and 57 girls - will receive diplomas at commencement exercies to be held May 26.

476 women were interviewed for factory work last week by the O'Bryan Co. of Chicago.
