Break-ins in two Kellerton business houses and one in Mount Ayr Friday night or early Saturday morning are being investigated by Sheriff Elbert STRANGE and other peace officers.
The 1965-66 Raiders wrestling squad and their new coach, Herb DILLARD, will open the wrestling season Saturday night in Mount Ayr with Winterset as their opponent.
The Creston High School will be the stage for one of the most colorful events in which our band will participate this year. The Little All-State, to be held the first Wednesday and Thursday of December 7, will bring together about eight musicians from each of he 14 or 15 schools for a two-day rehersal. On Thursday night, a 170-piece band will present a concert under the direction of
Gene BRAUGHT.
Diagonal won their third straight victory Friday night when they downed the Mount Ayr Raiders in their season opener, 53-46.
