A 28-year-old farm woman and mother of three young children was killed yesterday morning about 8:30 o'clock in a tractor accident on the Virgil Hays farm, six miles northwest of Diagonal on the High and Dry road.
Brian Henry, three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Henry, is convalescing satisfactorily in the Greater Community Hospital from injuries received at the family home in Tingley. Several of the Henry children were
playing on the porch of their home near a piano, the inside of which had been removed in readiness for junking, when the accident happened. Brian came out onto the porch, the piano toppled over and pinned him underneath,
fracturing his leg and pelvis.
Douglas Strange was released Monday from the Ringgold County Hospital where he had been admitted Wednesday night after suffering a fracture of his left leg below the knee while skating at the Mount Ayr Roller Rink.
