Fred STRANGE, of Diagonal, John IRVING, of Mount Ayr, and Richard MICKELSON, of Lamoni, were elected members of the Rideta Electric Cooperative
during its annual meeting held THursday at the fairgrounds where approximately 1,000 persons attended.
Craig ELLIOTT, of Benton, was recognized as 4-H Interstate Boy of the year.
Fire, of an undetermined origin, caused damage approimated in excess of $20,000 to the Mount Ayr Roller Rink Wednesday. The loss was partially
covered by insurance.
