Candidates for Grand Valley homecoming queen and king are the following: queen,Michelle SNOOK, Andrea NORRIS,
Jenni BOLES and Missy MITCHELL; king, Aaron HOPKINS, Ken HARRISON, Rob FUGATE and Todd BOLES.
Shelly WIMER of Mount Ayr was named the Iowa Affiliate president of the year by the national Cosmetology Association.
Dave and Darlene IRVING are closing the IRVING Clothing store. The 64-year-old clothing business started July 5,
1924 by Dave's father, George IRVING, and his business partner, John REYNARD. The business will close in January.
