George Baldner suffered a head injury Thursday afternoon when struck by a golf ball while playing on the course at Mount Ayr Golf and Country Club..
Construction at the site of the new cap factory is proceeding on schedule according to the report given to the Ringgold County Development corporation by the contractor for the building.
Yesterday, letter carriers throughout the Mount Ayr area delivered two cards to every residence, Postmaster Marion Euritt reported. Each card will have spaces for addresses the householder wishes ZIPPED. After
placing the uncoded addresses on the cards, patrons may drop them into any letter box or return them to their letter carrier. The local post office will add the appropriate ZIP codes and return the cards to the mailer.
