Mount Ayr Community music teachers will not be sharing time at Grand Valley elementary school next year, if a plan
suggested to the Mount Ayr Community school board Monday night is followed.
Two WURSTER families, longtime residents of the Tingley area, have moved or will be moving to northeast Iowa. Gary and
Robin WURSTER and their daughter, Holly, 13, and son Stefan, 10, will be making their home on the farm they purchased
near Clermont, in northeast Iowa. Howard and Dorthy WURSTER, Gary's parents, will be moving to make their home in
Clermont, a town of about 600 after Dorothy conpletes her year as a kindergarten teacher in the East Union of Afton
schools, where she has been an instructor since 1970. She retires this year. Howard is a former operator of Tingley
elevator and has been driving a Mount Ayr Community school bus recently.
Kenneth QUICK has been named as chairman of the Ringgold County board of supervisors for 1996. Other supervisors are
Ethel CAMPBELL and Jim JONES.
A new superintendent for the Clearfield Community school district is being sought. David ANCTIL, superintendent-principal
for the district which operated an elementary school at Clearfield, is retiring after 38 years of school work.
