Two Ringgold county men have announced they will continue operation of a nursing home north of Mount Ayr. Earl Roudybush of Kellerton and L. W. (Joe) Gross of Mount Ayr have purchased the equipment of the Horton
Nursing home and have leased the building from the Ringgold county board of supervisors. They will continue to operate the nursing home on Highway 169 under the name of Sunny Slope Nursing Home, Inc. Facilities are available
for 38 persons.
A total of 114 animals were sold at the annual 4-H livestock sale held Saturday morning at the Mount Ayr Livestock Market. Total amount realized by the auction was $12,812.03.

The Clover Belles and Washington Workers 4-H clubs were awarded top honors in the senior division of the girls' demonstration contest held Thursday in conjunction with the Ringgold County Fair.
