Bob's Trained Animal Circus will stage a one-night performance on June 15 on the square in Mount Ayr.
Four persons of this area were among the 617 senior and graduate students who received bachelor and master degrees from Drake University
in Des Moines during the spring commencement exercises held at the Drake Fieldhouse.
In spite of heavy rainfall, the spring flower show, sponsored Friday by the Mount Ayr Garden Club, was termed a success. Entries in the show were
fewer in number than in previous years but of a fine quality.
