Walter K. Scott, who has been assistant cashier of the Iowa State bank for the last 12 years, was elected cashier in place of Tayler Grimes, who has accepted a position as manager of the Central Trust company in Des Moines.
Lee Moulton sold his share in the garage and the firm will now be known as Wiley Bros. garage.
BENTON - A prominent feature of the New Year's Night party held by Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Gaines in honor of their daughter, Vera, the occasion being her 16th birthday anniversary, was the splendid music furnished by an orchestra composed of W. A. Cross, leader, Madge and Esther Wallace, Chester Wallace and Louis Rychnovsky.
KELLERTON - A new club, known as the Priscilla club, has been organized with the following officers elected: Mrs. Cyrus Jackson, president; Mrs. Dwight Burham, vice-president; Mrs. Clarence French, secretary; Mrs. Wallace Farmer, treasurer; and Mrs. Luther Roberts, reporter.

EAST WASHINGTON - Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bauman are the proud parents of a baby boy. They have named their new son Loren Sylvester.
