The Iowa Heart Association will benefit from funds donated individually by friends in honor and memory of Dr. T. I. MOFFETT,
whose death occurred Nov. 11.
Rev. C. P. GERARD, who had received a call to serve as pastor of the Assembly of God church, and his family arrived in Mount
Ayr yesterday and are now occupying the parsonage.
The ordination service for John M. LATTA, pastor of the Redding and Middle Fork Methodist churches, will be held Sunday
evening, Dec. 12, at 8 p.m. Bishop F. Gerald ENSLEY, of the Des Moines area, will officiate.
Ames CROSS, local Willys dealer, and Mrs. CROSS left Tuesday evening from Creston for Chicago, IL where they attended a
special closed-circuit television showing of the 1955 Kaiser-Willys line of Jeeps, station wagons, trucks and
passenger cars.
