Shirley INGRAM, 59, of Kellerton, is in the Ringgold County Hospital at Mount Ayr recuperating from multiple broken
bones and other injuries sustained in a May 25 head-on collision four miles west of Murray on Highway 34. She was
transferred to the local hospital Friday, June 2, from Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, where she was
taken after the accident in which her mother, Irene CRIGLER, 83, of Tingley was killed. David MITCHELL, 32, of Osceola
was the driver of a car which was reported by the Iowa Highway Patrol to have crossed the center line and struck the
CRIGLER car in which INGRAM was a passenger.
The Sun Valley Iowa Lake Association board of directors announced the hiring of Lyle QUICK of Tingley's Association
manager at Sun Valley. He assumed his duties on Friday, June 2.
Sandra L. MERCER of Kellerton, a student at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY, will be one of 12 persons
ordained a deacon at a special service at Hilton Coliseum June 11 in Ames.
