A 14-year-old Tingley girl was hospitalized at Ringgold County Hospital following a one-car accident three-fourths of a
mile north of Tingley on a country road at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Melissa CLYMER, 14, was the driver of a 1971 Ford Galaxie
500 owned by her father, Arvid CLYMER, that went into a ditch, rolled over and came to a rest on its top after she
lost control of it.
A painting of the first Hy-Vee store, which was opened by Charles HYDE and David VREDENBURG in Beaconsfield, is
the latest creation of Delphos artist, Mrs. Clarence SALTZMAN. Alta Leonore SALTZMAN has delighted in painting old
buildings in the area, a hobby she picked up after retiring in 1965.
