Bryan CAMPBELL, son of Bob and Teri CAMPBELL of Mount Ayr and a 1992 Mount Ayr Community high school graduate, recently completed two study programs, one of
which has taken him around the world and given him countless unforgettable experiences. India's Taj Mahal was just one of the stops when he sailed around
the world in a semester at sea for collee credit. He graduated from Iowa State University in May 1997 with a degree in computer engineering.
A Ringgold county farm was one of 243 farms across the state recognized in the Century Farm program at the Iowa State Fair. Honored this year
were Roger and Donna MORRISON for their farm in rural Mount Ayr.
Jon CEDARHOLM of Sun Valley Lake received the "Best of Show" award at the Ringgold County Fair for his Artasia woodworking picture titled "Hidden Forrest."
Brian WEIDENTHALER of Mount Ayr was one of nearly 200 University of Nebraska at Kearney students completing graduation requirements after attending
summer sessions this year. He received a master of science in education degree in instructional technology. WEIDENTHALER is the technology coodinator
for the Mount Ayr Community school district.
