Extent of the damage from hailstorms in Ringgold county on July 13, 15 and 18 may be partially measured by the amount of claims allowed through one of the insurance agencies in Mount Ayr. The W. B. Most of the claims allowed was for crop damage in Monroe township, southwest from Beaconsfield into Liberty township and in the vicinity of Caledonia in Lotts Creek township.
