Diane Lynn DENNEY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merritt DENNEY, and Jack Dean GOODALE, son of the Charles GOODALES of
Maloy, were united in marriage Feb. 28, in the Redding Methodis church. The bride and bridegroom are graduates
of the Mount Ayr Community high school with the class of 1964. The bride attended the Iowa School of Beauty Culture
and Mr. GOODALE is a graduate of the Reisch American School of Auctioneering. The GOODALES are at home on a farm
north of Maloy.
The Women's City Bowling Association tournament was completed last week at Lucky Lanes in Mount Ayr. Helen
SCHARDEIN was the singles winner with a handicap score of 577; a doubles team of ShirleY WOOLLUMS and Ruth POWELL
won first with 1109 total pins; Mary GUNTER was all-events winner with a 1678 score.
