Construction of a 34' by 156' addition to the Clearview Home in Mount Ayr will be started soon. The home, where
there has been a continuous waiting list for occupancy since it was opened in February of 1963, is owned by Mr.
and Mrs. Paul VARNER and Mr. and Mrs. Richard ROUTH of Clearfield, the latter two of whom serve as managers.
Janice CALDWELL has been chosen by members of the Mount Ayr Community high school marching band as their candidate
for queen of the ninth annual Southwest Iowa Band Jamboree to be held Saturday in Clarinda. She is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Jack CALDWELL of this city.
Cathy REYNOLDS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin REYNOLDS, was installed as Worthy Advisor of Mount Ayr Assembly No.
160, Order of the Rainbow for Girls, in a ceremony held Sunday afternoon in the Masonic Temple. Cherri MITCHELL,
daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Duane E. MTICHELL, was installed as Worthy Associate Advisor.
