Irene CRIGLER, 83, of Tingley, died from injuries suffered in a head-on automobile accident four miles west of Murray
on Highway 34 Thursday evening, May 25. According to the Iowa State Patrol, CRIGLER was driving a 1988 Chevrolet
going west on Highway 34, accompanied by her daughter, Shirley INGRAM, 59, of Kellerton, when an eastbound 1987
Chevrolet, driven by David MITCHELL, 32, of Osceola crossed the center line and struck the CRIGLER car.
A Mount Ayr student graduated from the University of Iowa in Iowa City with a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy at
ceremonies at Hancher Auditorium May 11. Krista SHAHA, daughter of Kyle and Pam SHAHA of Mount Ayr, was among 89 students
receiving degrees from the College of Pharmacy in the ceremony.
