PFC Ronald Allen YASHACK, born
September 5, 1947 and graduate of Diagonal Community School, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War with Company A of the 52nd Infantry Americal Division BSM PH. PFC YASHACK was killed in action on May 24, 1969, South Vietnam. He was interred at Diagonal Cemetery, Diagonal, Ringgold County, Iowa. PFC YASHACK was twenty-two-years-old, the son of Allen Richard "Dick" &Marjorie J. "Marge" (DOWELL) YASHACK.
