PFC Iven C. DOWELL, born in 1922, Ringgold County, Iowa, enlisted at Camp Dodge on March 19, 1943, serving during World War II with Company G of the 417th Infantry. He was killed in action on a German battlefield, February 7, 1945. He was 23-years-old. PFC Iven C. DOWELL was interred at Clearfield Cemetery, Ringgold County, Iowa.
