Tractor Club at Frontier Days
Members of the Waubonsie Tractor Club celebrated Redding Frontier Days with the residents of Redding on June 16.
The drivers displayed their antique tractors and sold homemade ice cream which was churned in the hit-and-miss freezer
and served by John CAMPBELL and Becky ANDREWS. Coffee and rolls were enjoyed by the members for their breakfast.
Lunch was served by 4-H members. The drivers had homemade ice cream in the afternoon and became enthusiastic when a
much needed rain came during this dry season. The next scheduled event is an antique tractor pull in Sheridan, MO
Saturday, June 23, in celebration of Defiance Days. Homemade ice cream from the hit-and-miss freezer will be served in
Sheridan that day. Waubonsie Tractor Club will meet Saturday, July 14, at the Benton Waubonsie Center following
breakfast for supper which is served from 5 to 7 p.m. The club meets on the second Saturday of every month at this
time. New members are most welcome.
