MALOY, IOWA CENTENNIAL HISTORY: 1887 - 1987

DON LYDDON FAMILY

Mary and Don LYDDON moved into the Maloy area in the year 1951. They made their home on the LEPLEY farm south of Maloy with their four daughters Joan, Shirley, Twilla and Wanda.

The years near Maloy were good family years. They attended the Community Church and enjoyed the community life.

The family moved away in March of 1955. Don passed away in 1972 and Mary now lives at Clearview Home in Clearfield. Joan lives in Shelton, Washington. Twilla also is at Shelton and works in a furniture store. Wanda makes her home in Tarkio, Missouri and is a teachers' asssitant for the school system. Shirley lives in Creston and is an X-ray technician at Greater Community Hospital.

NOTES: Donald W. LYDDON was born September 29, 1905, and died in September of 1972. Mary M. LYDDON was born August 12, 1905, and died October 4, 1991. They were interred at Clearfield Cemetery.
