CAROLE and RICHARD DAVISON FAMILY
In March 1968, Richard and Carole DAVISON and their three children, Diana, 10, Brenda, 8, and Rodney,
18 months, moved from a farm northwest of their hometown of Hopkins, Missouri, to Maloy. They settled in the former
Dennis SHAY home south of Maloy and continued farming. In 1971 another son, Robert, was born.
Diana graduated from Mount Ayr High School in 1976. In 1977 she received a degree in fashion merchandising at N.C.E. School of
Commerce in Omha. She is married to David PEDERSEN from Barnard, Missouri. They live in Maryville, Missouri
with their two children, Chad Aaron, 6, and Ashley Dawn, 2. Diana worked for First Midwest Bank before Ashley's birth and
David is a day maintenance worker for Maryville Forge.
Brenda graduated from Mount Ayr High School in 1978.
She continued her education at NWMSU in Maryville, Missouri where she received a B.S. in elementary
education in 1982. She married James JORGENSEN from Atlantic, Iowa. They have two sons, Michael James, 3, and Eli Jacob,
5 months. They live near Denison, Iowa, where Jim is a delicatessen manager with Hy-Vee food chain company.
Rodney is a 1985 graduate of Mount Ayr Community High school and is working toward a degree in agri-business
at Iowa State University. He assists with the family farming operation when not in school. Robert is a
sophomore at Mount Ayr High School where he enjoys sports. He helps with his father's farming endeavors
and plans to join the operation after graduation.
