Winter Texas Get Together
Tuesday a group of friends that spend winters in Texas met at Pizza Ranch in Creston. George and Ilene Eppley and Doug
and Mary Chamberlin from Donna, TX were the special guests and them and several others have been at the Country Music
Festival in Wahoo, NE. Others making the luncheon were Hiatt and Darlene Rice, Karen Payton, Ramona Weeks, Jim and
Donella Cook and Ross and Sheryl Craft from Creston; Wayne and Mary Jane Spriggs and Larry McClelland from Greenfield;
Lloyd and Muriel Johnson from Mount Ayr; Harold Hancock from Bedford; Ken and Phyllis Robinson from Prescott; Lloyd and
Kay Drake from Tingley; Bill and Mary Davis from Glenwood; Deane and Darlene Brees from Corning; Lloyd and Lucille
Bergstrom from Griswald; Dave and Liz Wiley and Bessie Austin from Diagonal. It was a great meal and everyone enjoyed visiting
and sharing stories. Mary Chamberlin and Doug are the special guests at the Tingley dance on Friday and George Eppley will
be playing with them. It is always a fun time when friends get together.
