Winter Texans meet for breakfast
George and Ilene EPLEY from Donna, TX have been visiting in the area. A breakfast was planned at Hy-Vee in Creston on
Tuesday, July 3, for them and other Winter Texans living in the area. Those attending the breakfast besides the EPLEYS
were Lloyd and Kay DRAKE and Muriel (Pee Wee) WARD of Tingley, Ken and Phyllis ROBINSON of Prescott, Lloyd and Muriel
JOHNSON of Mount Ayr, Harold HANCOCK of Bedford, Marie SICKLES of Villisca, Bessie AUSTIN of Diagonal and Hiatt and
Darlene RICE, Ramona WEEKS, Wayne and Joan HARTSOOK, Ross and Sheryl CRAFT and Jim and Donella COOK, all of Creston.
The group has been attending some music jams around the community with some of them playing and singing. A good time was
had by everyone.
