The annual Waterson Reunion was held September 13, seven miles south of Mount Ayr on the Sale Barn Road. Chilly weather produced many sweaters but a good time was had by all.

Those attending from Ringgold County were: Oscar and Barb Vaal, Charlie and Vickie Jeanes, Mike Avitt, Tyler and Riley Jones, Neil and Irma Johnston, Fred and Mary Shields, Gerald and Bonni (May) Summa, Laurance and Margaret Bishop, Walt and Bev McGinnis, Theola Weeda, Max and Joyce Smith, Jerry and Marilyn Sudduth, Mary Eason, Jeff French, Rose James, and Dorothy Saville.

Those attending from outside the county were: Junior Wion, Des Moines; Carlotta May Carr, Des Moines; Joe and Nora Fuemmeler, Rushville, Mo.; Erwin May, Chula Vista, CA;Phyllis Kimball, Creston; Ron and Ren Rauch, Leon; Phillip and Bonnie Godden, Bedford; Joe and Carl Washburn, Hatfield, Mo.; Eddie Rauch, Teresa Casey, and Kendall, Lamoni; Pat Hunt, Blockton; Pete and Nancy Hill, Grant City, Mo.; Kenneth and Polly Webb, Indianola; Wernadean (Hacker) Roca, Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Lynn Kesterson, Winterset.

Music, as always,was provided by Ron Rauch and his band; Joe Cafaro, Winterset; Russell Wright, Humeston; Jim Horton, Corydon; and Charles Piercey, Weldon.

A potluck supper was enjoyed by all and visiting with old friends never gets old. Thanks to Joe and Nora Fuemmeler for providing the location and facilities. Thanks again to Ron Rauch and his band for the muic and thanks to everyone for attending.

A very special thanks to our host Junior Wion, of Des Moines, for organizing another great reunion.
