The weekend of June 26 and 27 was great for the weather and the TAYLOR reunion. The weekend started on Saturday with golf for the 35 men at the Mount Ayr golf course and 22 ladies at the Lenox golf course. They enjoyed lunch together at the Mount Ayr Golf and Country Club and many prizes were given out. Later in the evening a good crowd gathered at G & L Bar in Diagonal for karoke with Randy TROST as the DJ. Lots of good music!

On Sunday the family of JR and Nellie TAYLOR gathered at the Diagonal Community Building. After a great cooperative meal and many group pictures they all returned to their homes and planned to see all again next year the last weekend of June.

The oldest was Velma AVERY and Kyle STRIDER was the youngest at four months. Jan and Larry DALBEY of Tucson, AZ had traveled the farthest. There were seven high school graduates, three births, one marriage and one death. There were 155 family members present and five guests for a total of 120. Mike WARIN'S family was all in attendance.
