Johnson Reunion
The JOHNSON family reunion was held Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005 at the Tingley community center. Chuck LONG returned thanks. Everyone
enjoyed the delicious food and visitng with the 67 relatives present. A special tribute was given to Harriet LONG as she will
be celebrating her 90th birthday in November. A decorated birthday cake made by Beth HARTSOOK was served in the afternoon.
Chuck LONG told some humorous things about his mother. Dale JOHNSON told many things he remembered about
the JOHNSONS and the Shannon City area. There were two deaths reported, Nobert FOX, Jan. 15, 2005 and Merle C. BEEN,
May 9, 2005. One birth, Lucas Alan HARTSOOK, born March 11, 2005 to Greg and Christa HARTSOOK. One letter was read from
Nick FOX of California. Those attending the reunion from out of state were Chuck, Sandy and Zach LONG of Beaver Bay, MN;
Dale and Janice JOHNSON of Mahtomedi, MN; Chrystal JOHNSON of Lincoln, NE; Doug JOHNSON of Omaha, NE; Scott REYNOLDS of
Glendale, AZ; Coleen NETCOTT of Green Bay, WI and Angela THOMPSON and Traci and Dennis NEELY, all of Saint Joseph, MO.
Those attending from Iowa were Willie JOHNSON, Carl and Gloria Van ZEE of Newton; Doris BEEN, Rod, Laurie, Corey, Dana and Nathan
BEEN, Joni, Brian, Landon, Luke WARDEN, Steve, Kevin and Travis BEEN, all of Belmond; Larry and Leta THOMPSON of Cumberland;
