James Family Reunion
The descendants of Squire and Mary JAMES (early pioneers of Middle Fork township) held their reunion at Fife's Grove on
July 24, 1994, with 29 enjoying the reunion and potluck dinner. The matriarch of the family, Myrtle Faye AREHART, who is
97, attended. She lives alone in her apartment in Bedord and manages very well. Attending besides Aunt Fay were Mr. and
Mrs. Lawrence JAMES of Marysville, KS; Mrs. Dorothy RANDOLPH of Clarendon Hills, IL; Mrs. Michele RICKER and family of
Phoenix, AZ; Mrs. Jona FELL and family of Neenah, WI; Elvin WAUGH of St. Joseph, MO; Mrs. Mae SMITH of Jamesport, MO;
Maxine WASHBURN of Hatfield, MO and Mrs. Leila NIDAY of Marengo. From Bedford were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde SPENCER and Mr.
and Mrs. Leroy WAUGH; from the local area were Zola JAMES, Mrs. Susie CATANZARETI and Little Joe, Mr. and Mrs. Cleo HACKER,
Cale HAINLINE, John SICKELS and Rose JAMES. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Vernon ARNOLD and their friend from Colorado
and Brandy and Nick JOHNSTON of Norwalk.
