Hensley Reunion

  • The Hensley cousins family reunion was held at the REC meeting room on July 23, 2016. Eleven first cousins met with their spouses, guests, and families.

Those attending were Betty Myers of Eagleville, MO, AnnaBelle and Bobbie Rinehart, Hatfield, MO, Mary Owens of Leon, IA, Jeane and Ron Seipp of Apple Valley, MN, Tim Killingsworth of Pattonsburg, MO, Galen and Fran Wilson of Green Castle, MO, Carol Ann and James Kerwin of Grant City, MO, Bobbie Bainum of Redding, IA, Richard and Kathryn Wilson, Lenox, IA, Raymond and Judy Hensley, Bev and Walt McGinnis, Jim and Karen Denney, of Mount Ayr, IA, Linda and John Barber of Benton, IA, Casey and Brenton Barber, and Charlotte Fletcher of Creston, IA, and Phyllis and David Hill of Wichita, KS.

The evening was spent having a pot luck supper with the Sadie Black family as hostesses. Pictures were taken and a lot of visiting done. Out of 31 first cousins, 10 have passed away, and there were 11 present, so it was a good turnout.
