What a great Ringgold county reunion in Texas this year.

The group met at Ann's Restaurant in San Juan, TX for lunch February 3 at 11 a.m. There were 71 people there for the noon meal.

Lloyd and Kay DRAKE were the host couple and have done a great job. Hiatt RICE returned thanks for the group.

Those attending the reunion were Lloyd and Kay DRAKE, Muriel CREED and Harold BROWN from Tingley; Kenneth and Phyllis ROBINSON from Prescott; Ron and Janis LOOMIS and Myron and Shirley INGRAM from Kellerton; Larry and Cheryl GROSE, Rose JAMES, Daryl and Joanne WILSON, Carmene JAMES, Paul McKINNEY, Darlene MORGAN, Francis and Marilyn PRITCHETT, Lee and Shirley BRAND, John and Dianna PETERS, Tom and Jan FORD and Lloyd and Muriel JOHNSON from Mount Ayr; Jim and Donella COOK, Myrtle BELEW, Hiatt and Darlene RICE from Creston; Myrna WILHELM Elliott and Frieda INGRAM from Ames; Mr. and Mrs. Max WILHELM from Minneapolis, MN.; Leo and Jerri McDANIEL from Redding; Theron and Marilyn JOHNSON and Harold and Virginia STEPHENSON from Delphos; Mary WILLIAMSON and Quentin and Rita ANDERSON from Ellston; Wilford and Pat DOLECHECK and Alan and Kay OSHEL, formerly from Diagonal and Bessie AUSTIN from Diagonal; Art and Carol HAYS from Council Bluffs; Robert and Mary Jane MOSLY from Gretna, NE; Pat KOONTZ from Prole; Twila SIMON from Walker; Marion and Sharon PRICE from Waukee; Don and Marilyn LANG, Wade and Elaine WIESE and Ron and Quita BETHARDS from Sun Valley Lake; Larry and Mel PERLENFEIN from Moline, IL and Bonnie BAKER from Clearfield.

It was a great reunion and will be held in the same location next year the first Friday in February. If anybody is visiting or coming to the Rio Grande Valley be sure and attend.

Another good reunion was held in Texas. The group met at Ann's Restaurant in San Juan. It worked well as nobody else was eating in the room so made the Diagonal reunion a private fun time.

Those attending the reunion were Morris and Phyllis SMITH of Creston, Marion and Sharon PRICE of Waukee, Lloyd and Kay DRAKE of Tingley, Ken and Phyllis ROBISON of Prescott, Art and Carol HAYS of Council Bluffs, J. E. and Bernadine ECKLIN of Lenox, Paul McKINNEY and Mary WILLIAMSON of Mount Ayr, Ron and Janis LOOMIS of Kellerton, Alan and Kay OSHEL of Flemington, MO, Bonnie BAKER of Clearfield and Bessie AUSTIN of Diagonal.

All had either lived at Diagonal or had contacts there at one time or another.

Alan and Kay OSHEL hosted the reunion again and did a fine job. They will be meeting again the second Thursday in February 2013 at the same place. Everyone enjoyed the meal and visiting so it was a very good reunion.
