Fairview Cemetery is located 1 mile west and ¾ mile south of Redding in Clinton Township, Ringgold County, Iowa [NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 22] on 135th Avenue.

Early records refer to Fairview as Abarr Cemetery or Brushey Cemetery.

Fairview Cemetery was recorded for the Ringgold County Historical Society by Barton and Bernice Abarr in September, 1975; updated in November, 2000 by Rick Wiley of Diagonal, Iowa; updated by Sharon R. Becker in December of 2009.
