PLEASANT RIDGE CEMETERY

Pleasant Ridge United Bretheran Cemetery, a.k.a. Bever Cemetery, was established in 1857 at the site of the first Church building in
Ringgold County. It was used until 1874. The cemetery is located 1/4 mile west off 220th Avenue on 115th Street, Jefferson
Township, Ringgold County, Iowa.
The cemetery has also been referred to at the Grimes Cemetery. It was called the Stephenson Cemetery on the
1930's WPA survery.
These interments were recorded for the Ringgold County Historical Society by Don and Esther Butt and Betty and Doug Ruby, all
of Diagonal, Iowa.
