J. W. TURNER
TURNER, J. W., farmer and stock dealer, section 25, P. O. Clarinda; the owner of 118 acres of well improved
land, adapted to stock raising; born in Ohio in 1854. At the age of six years his parents moved to Warren county,
Illinois , where he grew to manhood a farmer and stock dealer, living there until 1872, when he moved to Ringgold
county, Iowa , where he remained until 1876, when he came to this county. He was married May 13, 1880, to Miss
Elizabeth J., daughter of Rev. David McKEE, of this township. They are members of the Reformed Presbyterian church.
Mr. T. is one of Page county's most enterprising young men, and has a first-rate prospect in life.
