A.O. 'Dick' Morgan

Among the old timers who will be at the Montezuma Centennial is A.O. "Dick" Morgan, 81, a life-long resident of that city. The violin he is holding is the one he has played on many occasions around the town and the surrounding area. He said he has had it for 66 years and an uncle had it for over 40 years before that. "It was old when it was given to my uncle," he stated. The 113-year old violin is still in excellent condition. Morgan was on the board of supervisors for a total of 12 years and has been active in civic events.
