CARSON, GEO. D. - Proprietor of meat market. Was born in Buffalo, New York, September 15, 1849, and in 1867 came to this city. He bas been engaged in business, for ten years, and is the oldest butcher on the East Side. His mother died when he was four years old, and a few years afterward he went upon the lakes. He was married January 1, 1870, to Miss Nellie Porter, a native of Ohio, born near Marietta. They are the parents of one son and daughter: Georgietta and Fred. D.
