Dr. Freeman's brother was Albert. Mother was Ida May Kirk b. 5/14/1871 d. 4/29/1953 also in Idaho. She had a sister Jane. Would very much appreciate and information on the Lucas, Freeman or and Kirk families. Sister Harriett Mary Ellard (Beadz) was married to John Beadz and their 6 month old daughter Ellen Mae Beadz was living on the Ellard property in Fonda in 1880. Harriett Mary disappears after this, but the rest of the family (including John Beadz) moves to Nebraska in 1884 (where John marries Katherine in 1887). Any information on any of these people would be greatly appreciated. I know very little about their time in Fonda, except that the 1880 census says they were there. |

In 1850 she was living with her maternal grandparents, James and Polly (DAVIS) in Dodsen twp, Highland Co, OH. The family moved to Dallas Co IA ca 1856 and Emma became ADAMS. Emma m ca 1869 Nathaniel Perry CLARK who's parents resided in Osceola, Clarke Co IA. After moving to Malvern\Lincoln NE Emily separated from her husband and moved back to Dallas Co. She married Jacob STEBLER in 1881 in Council Bluffs, IA. Jacob b Switzerland, a widower lived in Minden, Pottawattamie Co, IA. In 1884 Jacob left for SD to clear the land and build a home for the family taking his son Fred with him. Fred ran away to live with his mother's family and later built a successful business in Riverside CA. In his memoir he says that his youger siblings and his stepmother went to "central Iowa" to live with her relatives during that year. According Emma's grandparents probate records in 1877 and 1883 Emma's parents were dead. Her two maiden aunts remained in Dallas Co. One stepdaughter Mary\Maria m 1885. According her brother Jesse STEBLER's probate documents Mary had married a Mr McCLURG and her decendants were found to have died in Pocahontas and Buena Vista Co's IA. Mary's sister Evoline m Mr MANGELS and was living in Forda in 1918 but moved to St Louis then Riverside CA.
