Sister Mary Alexander Visits Parental Oyens Home of Alex Stoffel’s

Mr. and Mrs. Alex Stoffel of Oyens enjoyed a home visit by their daughter, Sister Mary Alexander last week.

Sister has been teaching in Webster City the last several years.

Her companion for the visit was her cousin, Sister Mary Ella, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Groetken, former LeMars residents, now residing in Denver. Sister Ella is teaching in Manchester, Iowa.

Last Sunday a family picnic was held in the cafeteria at St. Catherine school at Oyens. Those attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schleisman and family of Canton, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Moos and children, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Straub, Mr. and Mrs. William Neubrand and family, Mrs. Clara Neubrand, Ethel Neubrand and Mrs. Gerhard Groetken, of LeMars.

Stacia Thorne of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Roeder and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Muir of Remsen, Earl Stoffel of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Lois Stoffel, of Sioux City.
