Rev. and Mrs. George F. McDougall of Trinidad, Colo., were guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Nanninga on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Judson McDougall, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Null and Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Nanninga and families attended a reunion picnic at the John McDougall home near Struble Sunday.

135 ATTEND REUNION OF NOBLE-MC DOUGALL FAMILES IN AKRON

Akron:  The Noble-McDougall family reunion was held in the American Legion hall in Akron, Sunday, July 15, with 135 people in attendance.  Dinner was served at noon and the afternoon hours were spent informally.

The reunion was reported to be a great success and it was decided to hold another at the American Legion hall in Akron on the third Sunday in July, the 20th, 1952.

Mrs. Lloyd Port of Akron was re-elected president and Mrs. Albert Null of LeMars was also re-elected secretary for the coming year.

Those present from LeMars were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Null, Mr. and Mrs. William Hodam and family, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Null and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Lamb and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Nanninga, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Albert, Mr. and Mrs. Judson McDougall and Donald, Judson McDougall, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Zigtema.

Attending from Struble were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Nanninga and Douglas, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wells.  Akron was represented by Miss Lorraine Utesch, Mr. and Mrs. George Noble and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kilstrom and Marsha, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Port and Mrs. Jack Port.

From Sioux City were Arthur Halles, Mrs. Gladys Halles Reynolds and children, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jensen and family, Mrs. O. J. Foster and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Musser, Mrs. Bruce Smith and children.

Family members attending from this vicinity were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Barnhardt and son, of Sibley, Mrs. William Gant and daughter of Westfield, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Noble and sons, and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Noble and family all of Ireton and Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Noble and family of Hawarden.

Those from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Seaburn Squires and children of Belmond, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Noble and children of Winnebago, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Otto Wieber of Clear Lake, S.D.
