1954 REUNION Ireton Special: The Johnson-Klave family reunion was held at the Hawarden Park Sunday, September 5. 69 persons were present for the annual reunion. Guests included, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Dimmick, Jimmy, Stanley, Raymond and Diane, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. John Schollerman, all of Hawarden. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Peters, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Johnson, Rodney, Kenneth and Gary, Mr. and Mrs. John Van Whye, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Koopman and children, all of Ireton. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brunsting and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Short, Ardes and Bobby, Mrs. R. Klave, Mrs. Louise Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Truman Watkins, Larry, Mary and Douglas, Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Klave and Dennis, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer R. Johnson, Janice, Patty, and Gordon, all of Hawarden. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Johnson and baby of Sioux City, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Klave of Harlan, Mr. and Mrs. John W.H. Van Whye and children, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Van Whye, both of Ireton. The reunion was held in the Hawarden Park and the oldest member attending was Mrs. Rudolf Klave, 82, of Hawarden and the youngest was Kathleen Kay Dimmick, two months old, also of Hawarden.
