The Hinde people had a family picnic and reunion at Oak Park near Hawarden on Sunday, Sept. 20.  There was 51 present, as follows:
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Patrick, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Patrick, of Brookings, S.D.;
Miss Alice Patrick and her sister Lucy and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hinde and daughters Betty Lee and Joan, of Hawarden;
Mr. and Mrs. Patrick from Akron;
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Eldridge, Mrs. Lucretia Thornburg and son Bobby, and Roland Eldridge, of Rock Valley;
Miss Dollie Hinde and friend of LeMars;
Mr. and Mrs. D. F. McArthur, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Chapman and daughter Jean, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hinde and twin babies, Jack Hinde, and Mrs. Will Criswell, all of this place (Seney.)
All had a fine time, a nice dinner and splendid visit.
