The meeting place was City Park at Worthington, Minnesota, where we could enjoy the lake and many took advantage of the speed boat rides. Scanning the family record it was noted that two sets of twin boys were born into the circle the past year, Robert Lee and Richard Roy Mulder, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Mulder, of Alton, Ia. Also Kent Ernest and Kurt Edward Bultman, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bultman, of Hawarden, Ia. The latter five month old babies were present and were the center of interest while they unconcernedly slept and enjoyed their little play pen. Also note worthy was a picture, recipes and write up of Mrs. Hollis Becker of Idaho Falls, Idaho. She received recognition in a recent issue of the Des Moines Register with “New Ways to Cook Potatoes.” So that we might all have a copy of one of Fern’s recipes, we are including one here.
