This is my husband, Mike D.Kroll's, grandparents, Henry & Elise(Spicker)Kroll, whom at the time of this photo of their marriage they lived in Kingsley,Iowa. But went and got married in Dakota City, Nebraska, on May 10,1910. Henry and Elise were born in Schleswig-Holstein,Germany. Henry came here at the age of 21 in 1903 and settled in Kingsley, Iowa. He and his brother, Hans Kroll, came and worked as farm hands. They can be found in the 1910 Federal Census. Today some of his family still live in Plymouth County.
