Three more grown children were out on their own.  They included Jens Andreas Kloster, Herlig Laurentine Kloster Petersen and Vibeke Helene Laurentine Kloster Nielsen.

 

Thorvald (Tovel) Kloster (1867-1955) married Anna Sophia Nielsen in the home of Ralph Swanson , Hwy 5 west of Oyens,

20 Feb 1890

Thorvald was a son of Jens Andreas Kloster I & Vibeke Helene Laurentine Bergholt.

Anna Sophia Nielsen was a daughter of Nis Nielsen & Herlig Jespersen Lund. (see link for her parents)

Thorvald died 05 Oct 1955.

Anna died 20 Jan 1951.

 

Andreas (Andrew) Kloster (1855-1932) married Anna Marie (Mary) Christina Hendricksen in the bride's home near Oyens, Ia., on 22 Aug 1894.

Andrew Kloster married Marie Raven (widow of Truels Raven). Her maiden name was Marie Hendricksen. Marie's brother, James, operated a wagon-making business in Le Mars.

 

This is the wedding picture of Andrew Kloster and Marie Hendricksen Raven Kloster.  Many times the wedding pictures were taken a year or two after the wedding. This might have been the case here as she is obviously pregnant with their son Jens Kloster.

The parents of Andreas (Andrew) Kloster were Jens Andreas Kloster I and Vibeke Helene Laurentine Bergholt.


Andreas (Andrew) Kloster b. 29 Aug 1855, Vonsbaek, Denmark; died 8 Nov 1932, LeMars, Iowa.

Anna Marie (Mary) Christina Henricksen b. 20 Mar 1860 in Denmark; died 16 Apr 1933, LeMars, Iowa.

Kristian Peter (Chris) Kloster ( 1874-1960) married Christine Nielsen in Fredonia Township on 08 Sep 1897.

Jens Andreas Kloster I & Vibeke Helene Laurentine Bergholt were the parents of the groom, Chris Kloster.

Nis Nielsen & Herlig Jespersen Lund were the parents of the bride, Christine Nielsen.

Kristian Peter (Chris) Kloster b. 9 Nov 1874 in Roedding, Denmark; died 15 Apr 1960, LeMars, Iowa.

Christine Nielsen b. 25 Aug 1878 in Skrydstrup, Denmark; died 14 Jul 1907 in Fredonia Township, Plymouth Co. IA.

Valdemar (Walter) Joergen Bergholt Kloster and his wife, Laurentina Helena "Tina" Johnson Kloster

This couple was married 18 Jun 1891 in Remsen, IA.

Jens Andreas Kloster I and Vibeke Helene Laurentine Bergholt were the parents of Walter.

Iver Nissen Johnson & Anna Sophie Lund were the parents of "Tina" Kloster.

Valdemar (Walter) Joergen Bergholt Kloster b. 23 Nov 1865 in Skodborg, Denmark; died 26 Feb 1961 in Ponca City, OK.

Laurentine Helena "Tina" Johnson Kloster b. 15 Jan 1874 in Charlotte, Iowa, Clinton County; died 18 Dec 1965 in Ponca City, OK.
